Off the back of attending the OMFIF “towards a future UK-China economic relationship conference” Optimum AV were approached by a leading figure at the bank of china/China chamber of commerce to discuss an upcoming event of theirs in Feb 2023.
The event was the Bank of china/China Chamber of commerce’s yearly Chinese new year awards and dinner at the iconic “Dorchester hotel on Park lane London.
Optimum AV provided a full production service for their awards/dinner evening. The service was made up of a full Set design of a 7m x 3m high stage set wrapped in a grey fabric, a cutout panel which housed an 8ft x 6ft Stumpfl rear projection screen, powered by an Epson 8,000 Lumin rear projector. To wash the stage and room we had a variety of lighting fixtures including SOurce 4 25-50 profiles, Chauvet 412 moving heads, controlled with an Avolites titan lighting desk.
Audio was powered using an array of EV ZLX-1subs either side of stage with ZLX 12″ speaker tops, 6x ZLX 12″ speakers around the room all controlled using a yamaha QL1 Sound desk.
Also, around the main ballroom we provided 4x Samsung 75″ screens on stand which were using a presentation relays but also using a Roland V-40 switcher we switched between content and a live camera feed for close up shots of the speakers on stage, which we used 2x Panasonic AG-CX350 Broadcast cameras, all footage was recorded onsite ready to be edited in post production and handed over to the client at the end of the evening. We also provided multiple Samsung 55” screens across VIP breakout rooms to display informational content to guests while enjoying drinks and Canapes before the evening’s event.
